A reading and author talk presented by local poet Noah Davis. His first collection of poem, Of This River, received the Wheelbarrow Emerging Poet Book Prize from Michigan State University’s Center for Poetry. His work has also appeared in publications like The Sun, The Christian Science Monitor, Orion, Best New Poets, The Year’s Best Sports Writing, Southern Humanities Review, Poet Lore, and North American Review.  Davis will read from his own works, and speak on his inspiration and writing; his work heavily features themes of wildlife, relationships, and the human connection with nature. 

Davis's second collection of poetry, The Last Beast We Revel In, is scheduled for publication in early April. His books will be available for purchase at the end of the program.
